PXC2200 Controller
The PXC2200 series PXI Express embedded controller is based on 11th-generation Intel® Xeon®/Core™ i7/i5/i3 processors. It is specifically designed for hybrid test systems based on PXI Express and delivers maximum computing performance for a wide range of test and measurement applications.
The PXC2200 series features a dedicated computing engine on a single processor, enabling it to execute multiple independent tasks simultaneously in a multitasking environment. With the help of an automatically configured PCIe switch, this controller supports PXI Express connectivity with either four x4 or two x8 links. Through the PCI Express 3.0 bus, the system can achieve a maximum throughput of up to 16 GB/s.
The PXC2200 series is equipped with up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory and features advanced 11th-generation Intel® Xeon® W-11865MRE/Core™ i7-11850HE/i5-11500HE/i3-11100HE processors, making it a high-performance solution for a wide range of test and measurement applications.
The PXC2200 series offers a variety of interface options, including two DisplayPort connectors for connecting two displays; two USB 3.0 ports that support high-speed peripheral devices; two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one for LAN connectivity and the other for controlling LXI instruments; four USB 2.0 ports for connecting peripherals and enabling USB-based instrument control; and a Micro-D GPIB connector for connecting GPIB instruments, thereby enabling control of PXI-based hybrid test systems.
The PXC2200 series is equipped with a built-in BGA291 SSD and an optional SATA 6.0 Gb/s port, while also featuring a reserved SATA interface, providing ample storage capacity for a wide range of applications and data types.
The PXC2200 series supports multiple operating systems, including Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, Linux, CentOS, and Ubuntu. It is also equipped with a TPM 2.0 security module and complies with several EMC standards to ensure reliability. This 3U/4-slot PXI-compliant controller features one system slot and three controller expansion slots.
